RHONJ: S3 E2
First thought: WHAT THE HECK WHY IS KIM G STILL AROUND. With that sad she is old and she is a trouble maker. She needs to go. As for the fashion show Kathy and Teresa arguing it shouldn't of happened there (At the brownstone). Thought the Halloween scenes were sweet. Wish the feud between the brother and sister would stop. Life is too short and the bitterness affects your kids.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey: S3 E1
Let me just start by saying this was such a sad episode. I wanted to cry throughout the whole thing. We met the two new housewives and Teresa's brother so far I really like them but we will have to wait till the season plays out so I can give my final opinion.
So let's do a recap...
Episode one opens with the christening of the newest Housewife Melissa's little boy, Joey. Let me just say he is too cute I loved the christening outfit. At the christening Theresa and her brother Joe get into a fight and, based on that one snip-it in the beginning of the Episode you think that it is Joe who is responsible. Then before you can really get a handle on the situation the snip it ends and the episode flashes back to a week earlier. So here is my breakdown on the episode and the participants
Jacqueline Laurita- Love, Love, Love Jaqueline. She seems so sweet and genuine. I am glad this episode finds here and her family well. Her oldest child Ashley is now interning at a PR firm in New York and other then the normal follies of youth she seems to be doing great. I applaud Jacqueline on how well she is doing parenting a teenage girl and on national TV. It is not an easy job and I don't believe she gives herself enough credit. Her daughter seems like any normal teenager she is arrogant and self centered but that is the age and she seems like a really nice kid. So Bravo all around.
Caroline Manzo- The Manzo family seems to be doing great. I love all of them they seem so down to earth and really loving and supporting of each other how could you not like them. In this episode Caroline's two sons Albie and Chris move out to Hoboken. I felt for Caroline I dread the day my kids leave me and spread their wings. She should be happy to know that she did a great job raising them and again Bravo to all. Oh by the by haven't forget the daughter Lauren she seems to be doing great and her boyfriend Vito too cute.
Teresa Guidice- How can you not love Teresa. The issues that she has had to deal with in the past year I sympathize with; however, they seem to be getting themselves back on track and that is the important thing. When it comes to the issues with her brother and his wife I really have no concrete opinion and here is why. Issues with families are always tough because you never really know exactly what is going on. I think they are probably both wrong but when emotions runs so high it is often hard to take ownership of your part in the problem. Does that make sense? Long story short they all seem like nice people and I hope they can work through their issues. I come from a family where my brother and sisters are my best friends and I know their pain. It sucks when siblings are at odds and the parents are in the middle. I know how it feels to think the other party has ignored an emotional need and you think your parents are taking sides. Again I hope they work through it and she continues to be her fabulous self.
Kathy Wakile: I cannot say much because haven't quite formed an opinion. Seems a little meddly for my taste but it is early in the season so who knows.
Melissa Gorga- She is pretty. Her house is pretty. Her children are pretty. Her husband is handsome. She cooks she cleans and I hate her. Just kidding. Again it is too soon to really pass judgement on her. She can be catty but all women are catty. Anyone who tells you different is lying. Her sisters remind me of my own. I applaud her and her husband for working hard to give themselves and excellent life.
A note on the Christening:
What happened at the Christening was a tragedy. It resulted in a misunderstanding between siblings and their relationships with their spouses. SAD. I feel for everyone involved.
